Returns
At Characterize, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy, we offer a straightforward returns and exchange process to make things right.
Return Policy
We accept returns within 14 days of your purchase date, provided the items are unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when they were received. Proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt, is required to process your return.
How to Return an Item

Contact Us
To initiate a return, please reach out to our Customer Service team at 📧 sales@characterize.com with your order number and reason for the return. -
Return Authorization
Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization Number and detailed instructions for sending your items back. -
Ship the Items
Securely pack the items, including all original packaging. Ship your return to the address provided in your Return Authorization. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost during return transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different scent or product, please contact us directly to arrange your exchange. Exchanges are subject to product availability and may involve additional charges if there is a price difference.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us within 7 days of delivery at sales@characterize.com with a description and photo of the issue. We’ll be happy to replace the item or offer a full refund.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened or used. Clearance or final sale items are also non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
